About this project
Establishing a poultry farm is a housing and biosecurity problem before it is a bird problem. Siting, ventilation, stocking density and the route people and equipment take through the site all decide how the flock performs long before the first bird arrives.
This work covered the full establishment of a poultry farm: assessing and preparing the site, designing and putting up housing, sourcing stock, and putting the feeding, watering and health routines in place that the operation runs on.
