We work across five service lines — farm management, agricultural input supply, crop production, livestock production and animal health — and we deliver them as one integrated service rather than as separate offerings.

Do you only work with large commercial farms?

No. We work with smallholder farmers, commercial crop farmers, livestock and poultry farmers, fish farmers, and agribusiness investors. The approach is the same at every scale; what changes is the size of the plan and the budget behind it.

I own land but have never farmed. Can you still help?

Yes. Establishing a farm from a bare site is a large part of what we do — assessing the land, deciding what it can carry, planning the layout, sourcing inputs and stock, and supervising the work. You do not need farming experience to start, but you do need a plan before you spend.

What does "integrated agribusiness solutions" actually mean?

It means the crop side and the livestock side of a farm are planned together, and that advice, inputs and animal health come from one team. In practice, animal waste becomes crop nutrition, crop residue becomes livestock feed, and nobody has to reconcile three suppliers giving three different recommendations.

How much do your services cost?

Accepted Answer

Cost depends entirely on scope — the size of the farm, the enterprises involved and how much of the work we carry out versus supervise. We quote each engagement individually after the initial consultation rather than publishing fixed prices that would not fit most farms.

What should I prepare before a consultation?

Anything you already know about the site helps: its size and location, what has been grown or kept on it before, water access, what infrastructure exists, and what you want the farm to produce. If you have none of that yet, come anyway — the assessment stage exists to establish it.

Do you only do one-off advice, or ongoing management?

Both. Some engagements are a single assessment and plan. Others are ongoing farm supervision and management, where we run the operation to an agreed standard and report on it. The consultation is where we agree which shape fits.

What is included in farm management?

Land preparation, farm maintenance, farm planning and establishment, farm supervision and management, and crop protection and pest management. In practice it covers getting the farm set up correctly and then keeping standards in place once it is running.

I do not live near my farm. Can you supervise it for me?

Farm supervision and management is a stated part of our service. The arrangement — how often the site is visited, what is reported and what decisions we make on your behalf — is agreed at the start so nothing is ambiguous later.

My farm already exists but is underperforming. Where do you start?

Accepted Answer

With an assessment. Underperformance usually traces back to a small number of causes — soil condition, poor inputs, wrong timing, weak husbandry routines or unmanaged pest pressure. We identify which apply before recommending spending.

Which crops do you work with?

Arable crops including maize, cassava and yam, and tree crops including oil palm. We also handle plantation crop establishment, which is a different discipline from annual cropping because the decisions are locked in for years.

Why is establishing a plantation treated differently?

Because mistakes in a plantation are expensive and permanent. Spacing, planting material and the maintenance regime through the immature years set the yield ceiling for decades, and none of it can be corrected cheaply once the trees are in the ground.

Can you supply seeds and fertilizer as well as advise?

Yes — improved seeds and seedlings, organic and inorganic fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides, and farm tools and equipment. Supplying and advising from the same team means the recommendation and the product never contradict each other.

That is set by your site, your budget and your market, not by a rule of thumb. Overstocking at the start is one of the most common and most expensive mistakes in livestock — the housing and feeding plan should decide the number, not the other way round.

Do I really need to keep records?

Yes. Without records you cannot tell a good batch from a bad one, or know whether a change helped. Simple, consistent records on mortality, feed, growth and output are what make a livestock enterprise manageable rather than guessable.

What does your animal health service cover?

Veterinary consultations, vaccination programmes, disease diagnosis and treatment, deworming, and ongoing livestock health monitoring.

Why do you emphasise vaccination over treatment?

Accepted Answer

Because by the time animals are visibly sick, the loss is usually already in the flock or herd. A vaccination and monitoring programme costs less than the emergencies it prevents, and it protects animals that would otherwise never have shown symptoms until it was too late.
