About this project
Run separately, crops and livestock compete for the same land, labour and money. Run together, the residues of one become an input to the other — manure to the fields, crop residue and by-products to the animals.
This work covered designing and running an integrated crop and livestock system, where the two enterprises are planned as one operation with a shared calendar and shared resources.
